This is the most beautiful Chandelier I have ever seen and it is far more impressive in person. Everyone I have over loves it and tells me how jealous they are! You will need professional electricians and this is a 2 man job. Also, reinforcing the chandelier through your attic is a must! This is very heavy as it is all crystal and you do not want to worry about it coming out of the ceiling after the electricians have left! It took 2 professionals more than 6 hours to install as there are 500 individual crystal strands that need to be attached by hand, and then 500 crystal balls that then need to be attached by hand at the end of each of the crystal strands. Labor intensive and they charge by the hour but so worth it. Brick and mortar lighting galleries want to charge $5,000 for this same chandelier - and that is without installation. I also highly recommend a dimmer switch to be installed and the electrician can take care of that for you too. This chandelier makes me happy every day, and what a remarkable price on Amazon.
